Introduction

the All India Law Entrance Test or AILET as it is commonly known is an entrance exam conducted by National Law University, Delhi for admission to the 5-year integrated BA LLB, LLM course, and Ph.D. programs. This entrance exam is conducted only once a year and is attended by around 20,000 candidates. the AILET question paper will be based on three subjects namely English Language, Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs and General Knowlege. 

Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), candidates appearing for this exam have to meet the age limit, educational qualifications, and the qualifying exam that are accepted by AILET. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria only should apply for the entrance exam. there is no age limit for appearing in AILET 2023 and pursuing Law from NLU Delhi.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have passed or appeared in the 10+2 board exam in any stream from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE, or their equivalent are eligible

Marks  Required

Candidates scoring a minimum of 45 percent marks in the qualifying examination


minimum of 40% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates in the qualifying examination


(Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also equivalent)

Application Process

Step 1 Registration

Log on to the official admission portal of NLU Delhi and Click on the AILET application link to Register as a new user.

The Candidate must provide your name, mobile number, and email ID after which the student Submit the details and complete the registration 

Step 2 Fill out the form

The next step is to fill details in the application form for AILETwith more information like personal, academic, communication, and others along with the required details like Class 10th and 12th details such as marks and percentage secured, board name, subjects, etc. along with the marks of the qualifying exam.

Step 3 Make the payment

The final step is to fill out the application fee, which is INR 3050 for OBC, General categories, and 1050 INR for PWD, EWS, and ST SC categories applicants.
