Introduction

The National Defense Academy Engineering Entrance Exam, also known as the National Defence Academy or NDA for short, conducts an entrance exam twice a year by Union Public Service Commission for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). This exam is considered to be the most sought-after and prestigious defence entrance exams in the country where both male and female candidates can apply. The National Defense Academy Engineering Entrance Exam takes place in two stages, namely the written exam and SSB Interview. In the year 2020, a total of 5.3 lakh candidates had applied for the National Defense Academy Engineering Entrance Exam, out of which 2.4 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. A list of candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written exam is prepared by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate in the admission procedure, the candidates who are willing to get admission in the B.Tech courses offered by the university are required to meet the NDA University B.Tech 2022 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are made up of various factors such as age, academics and more qualifications that the candidates need to meet to be allotted the offered B.Tech seats. For NDA 1 exam, both male and female candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 2003, and not later than July 1, 2006


For NDA 2 exam, both male and female candidates must have been born not earlier than January 2, 2004, and not later than January 1, 2007.

Marital Status

Only unmarried male and female candidates are allowed to apply for the exam

In 2021, Supreme of Court has passed its decision that girls can join National Defence Academy

Education

The candidate must have Passed Class 12/HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Educational Qualification for students

Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 can apply for NDA exam but Candidates who are studying in Class 11 cannot apply.

NDAEEE 2022 Registration

The Candidates are required to visit the official website- vit.ac.in and click on the new registration link for B.Tech admissions. 


If the registration is successful, credentials will be sent through SMS and email to the registered number and mail address.

Login Password

The login password will be sent by the authorities to the registered email id of candidates if they are successful at registration

Filling out NDA 2022 Application Form

The students are required filling the application form where they will have to provide information about their personal, educational, qualifying exam, and contact details. An Application number will be created after this process

Payment of VIT Application Fee

The candidates are required to make a payment of the fee in online mode through a Debit card, Credit card, or Net banking.

Uploading of Photograph and Signature

In This Step, candidates will have to upload the photograph and signature in the specified format

Final Submission of the application

Candidates need to check all details provided on the online application form of NDA 2022 before doing the final submission and Download the filled-in application form as a PDF file and take a printout of the same

You need to apply for National Defence Academy after passing 12th Standard with Physisc, Chemistry and Maths as your studied subjects. It is as good as IIT for B.
