The candidate must have appeared in 10 from any recognized educational board.

The Candidate then has to appear for the HSC exam from a recognized board

Interested candidates can undertake a bachelors degree,  which is a 3-year degree program

The candidates can also pursue a master’s degree so that they can have better career opportunities. 

The candidate should try to gain at least a minimum of 50-60% marks to be eligible to enter Any stream of choice

Most Stockbrokers appear in the commerce stream however it is not a hard and fast rule.

  • BA in Finance and Investment
  • BA in Economics

These are some of the better options for a bachelor’s degree

They can pursue a Master’s Degree such as an MBA in Finance or Economics, which can be up to 2 years

Commerce is still the stream of choice for most stock brokers. However, a Diploma in Stock Exchange and Mutual Funds is also a valid choice

The candidate should try to gain at least a minimum of 50-60% marks. Then, only they will become eligible for the bachelor’s course

After Graduation, the student can either search for a Job or go for a Master’s Degree

  2. Series 7 Exam: This exam is required for individuals who wish to become general securities representatives and work as stockbrokers. It covers a range of topics related to securities, including stocks, bonds, options, and investment products.
  3. Series 63 Exam: This exam covers state securities laws and regulations and is required by many states for individuals who work as securities agents or representatives.
  4. Series 65 Exam: This exam is required for individuals who wish to become investment advisor representatives and provide investment advice to clients.

  5. Series 66 Exam: This exam combines the Series 63 and Series 65 exams and is required for individuals who wish to become both securities agents and investment advisor representatives.
