Organised sports is a game directed by the head of the committee and involves rules and formal practice and competition. Physical education and playing sports for leisure can not be considered organised sports.

Sports administrators form an important part of sports funding bodies and sports development’s local authority. As the name suggests, Sports administrators do a similar job to the administrators in other industries. Their primary focus is on organising events and running the sports facility they are working in. 

They are required to do routine admin work, manage complex projects for the growth of the sector, create budgets and allocate resources. They also need to promote sports to young children such as in schools or colleges, hold under 15 or under 18 sporting events at a local level, etc.

The Job of a Sports Administrator is to manage administrative tasks for sports clubs or school sports departments by managing budgets, organizing practice schedules, and hiring staff.

The sports administrator are required to plan fundraisers, schedule practice times and source equipment as needed.

The average pay for a Non-athletic occupation in the organised sports sector can range from 15,000 INR to 50,000 INR per month depending upon the hierarchy of the job, a coach may get an average payment between 20,000 to 30,000 INR while an administrator may get somewhere between 30,000 to 50,000 INR per month. On the other hand, some like sports commentators or sportswriters may get around 15,000 to 20,000 INR per month.
