Introduction

BITSAT, short for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test India is an entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, (BITS) for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in its colleges which are located in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. The Candidates who passed the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test India entrance test will be offered admission into BE, BPharm, and MSc programs. around 3 lakh students apply for this entrance exam every year which is conducted online. 

Admission to BITS

The exam conducting authority of BITSAT has released the BITSAT eligibility criteria for 2022 along with the official notification on the official website and the applicants appearing for the exam must check the BITSAT eligibility criteria for 2022 before filling out the application form. The eligibility criteria of BITSAT 2022 comprise the qualifying exam, age limit and minimum marks required for admissions, however, BITSAT 2022 eligibility criteria are released separately for all the courses. 

Some common qualifying factors are that the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects if they have taken Mathematics in BITSAT or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects if they have taken Biology in BITSAT in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology subjects.

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized institute with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • They must have Adequate proficiency in English which is mandatory
  • The candidate will also be eligible If the candidate will be appearing for 10+2 in 2022

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Examination

  • The Student seeking to attempt the entrance test should have scored a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • the candidate must have scored minimum 60% in each paper

Age limit of the candidate

No age limit is specified, However only those candidates who are appearing in or have passed their 10+2 are eligible to sit in the exam

BITSAT B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Exam

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized Central or State board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • Candidates having Mathematics in class 12 can also apply for B.Pharm program of BITS
  • Good Enough English skills are very much desired from the candidate

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Examination

  • The Student seeking to attempt the entrance test should have scored a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • The candidate must have scored minimum 60% in each individual Exam

Age limit of the candidate

No age limit is specified, However only those candidates who are appearing in or have passed their 10+2 are eligible to sit in the exam

BITSAT M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Exam

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized institute in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • Good Enough English skills are very much desired from the candidate
