Introduction

XAMPP is a free open-source, developed by Apache Friends. It is a cross-platform web server solution stack package. XAMPP involves most of the Apache HTTP Server, MariaDB database, and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages.

What is the use of XAMPP?

XAMPP is a developer tool that allows website designers and programmers to test their work on their own computers without any access to the Internet. It has the ability to serve web pages on the World Wide Web.

It provides support for creating and manipulating databases in MariaDB and SQLite among others. With the help of XAMPP, you can treat a localhost like a remote host by connecting using an FTP client.

To install a XAMPP on Windows 10 you have to perform some steps:

First of all, go on Google.
ype XAMPP in the search.
On the search page, you will get a very first link to “Download XAMPP”. Click on the link.
After clicking on the link you will see a panel wherein you will find 3 options to download XAMPP.
Select the latest version of its that is 7.3.9
Now click on the download button.
The XAMPP downloading process will start.
After completion of download open it and you run it.
To run it, right-click on it, click on open.
You will get a control panel on the screen with the option Yes and No.
Click on the Yes option.
You will get a new set of panel, just click on the Next button.
You will see the number of components which are checked, if not then make it checked, then click on the Next button.
You will get a new set of panel, just click on the Next button.
Now select a folder where you want to store a XAMPP. Click on the Next button.
Now your installation has been started, which will take little time to complete.
After completion of the installation, on the new window, you will get a checkbox, you have to check it, and then click on the finish button.
Then you will get an option of language selection, select the language, click on the Save button.
After saving it you will see the XAMPP Control Panel window.
Then you will get an option of language selection, select the language, click on the Save button.
Now have to click on the start button of Apache and MySQL.
