How to Download and Install Android Studio

Introduction

To download Android Studio first you need to download JAVA Jdk File and then you have to download Android Studio File.

Steps to Download and Install Java JDK Files

Step 1- Go on the browser and type Java SE in the URL.
Step 2- Click on the very first search “Java SE-Downloads| Oracle Technology Network| Oracle”
Step 3- You will get a Java SE panel, click on the Download.
Step 4- Below you will get a Java SE license, click on “Accept License Agreement”, and select the “jdk-12.02_windows-x64_bin.exe” option. It will start downloading files.
Step 5- Right-click on the downloaded file and select “Show in Folder”.
Step 6- In the open folder double click on the “jdk-12.02_windows-x64_bin” file.
Step 7- New window opens which will ask for change, click on “Yes”.
Step 8- Now the file starts processing, click on it, a new window opens, click on “next”.
Step 9- Installation window will open, click on the “Next”. Your installation will start.
Step 10- After installation, a new window opens click on the “Next Step”.
Step 11- In a new window JDK documentation will open, read it and then click on “Close”.
Step 12- Now go in Local Disk (C), click on “Program Files”, and click on Java file, in that click on “jdk-12.02” files and in jdk files click on “bin” files, and copy the whole path of that file.
Step 13- Now go in the “This PC”, go in the” Properties” and click on the “Environment Variables”.
Step 14- In the new window, select the default path and click on the “Delete”.
Step 15- Click on the “New” and now fill the details- put “path” in the variable name and paste that copied path in variable value then click on “OK” of each opened window.
Step 16- Close the window and open “Command Prompt” (cmd).
Step 17- In open cmd, write javac and press Enter. Then close the cmd. Here your Java jdk has been installed perfectly.

Steps to Download and Install Android Studio

Step 1- Go on browser and type “Android Studio” in the URL.
Step 2- Click on the first search named “Download Android Studio| The Official Android IDE”.
Step 3- On the home page below you will get the options as per the platforms, select the Android Studio package from that and then click on the “DOWNLOAD ANDROID STUDIO” button.
Step 4- New window opens, select the checkbox that you are agreeing for terms and conditions and then click on the “DOWNLOAD ANDROID STUDIO FOR WINDOWS”.
Step 5- Right-click on the downloaded file and select “Show in Folder” option.
Step 6- In the open folder double click on the “android-studio-ide-191.5791312-windows” file to install Android Studio.
Step 7- A new window opens for permission, click on the “Yes”.
Step 8- Android Studio Setup will open Click on “Next”.
Step 9- Select Android Virtual Device and then click on “Next”.
Step 10- A new window will ask for the installation location, if you want to change it you can change it or click on the “Next” (better you keep default location).
Step 11- Now click on “Install”.
Step 12- After completion of the installation click on the “Next” button. In a new window select checkbox and click on “Finish”.
Step 13- Small window appears, in that select radio button of “Do not import settings”. Click on “Ok”.
Step 14- Here Android Studio starts to click on the “Don’t Send”.
Step 15- In the android panel click on the “Next”.
Step 16- Now select “Standard”. Click on “Next”.
Step 17- Select the UI theme. Click on “Next”.
Step 18- Setting page opens, click on “Finish”. Components will start to download.
Step 19- After downloading click on “Yes”. And then click on “Finish”.
