Introduction
PCB assembly, commonly referred to as PCBA, is the process of soldering electrical components onto a circuit board. Every electrical gadget has a printed circuit board (PCB) at its core. Whether it’s a smartwatch, a microwave, or a quantum computer, the device’s electrical signals are directed by an impeccably-assembled PCB.
The first and most important stage in the PCB building process is soldering. A soldering defect in the gadget could lead it to fail or operate in an unexpected way. As a result, soldering is a critical factor in an electrical device’s overall performance.
Types
Surface mount and through-hole components are the two types of components available.
Through-hole components have weird legs that fit through drill holes, whereas surface-mount components reside on top of the board. Surface-mount components are commonly used in modern PCB assembly plants because they are easier for robots (automated devices) to handle.

Stencil Printing Operator
The eligibility criteria to become a stencil printing operator is a minimum of a 10th or 12th grade pass is preferred. Stencil Printing Operator Certification (programme aligned to ELE/Q5201 from the Electronics Sector Skills Council).
Skills Required
