Content managers are responsible for building a brand identity and online presence of companies through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online. This involves creating content strategies, managing a content team, building an online community and tracking that community’s growth, among other duties.

After the Candidate Completes their Graduation, they can go for a master’s degree even though it is not necessary.

The candidate should try to gain at least 50-60% marks to be eligible to enter the Commerce stream since this stream is most suitable for getting a foundation in marketing.

Content Manager mainly prefer the commerce stream however it is not a hard and fast rule.

However it is not a hard and fast rule to hold a degree, however, most employers prefer candidates who have a degree. Certification in digital marketing may also be beneficial here.

The candidate should try to gain at least a minimum of 50-60% marks. Then they may  become eligible for a bachelor’s course.

After Graduation, the candidates can either look for a Job in an organization for a  Junior position or go for further learning.

To get to the position of Content Manager one needs to have sufficient experience in the Industry, preferably a minimum of 2 years.

Usually Content Managers work in an office environment. The working hours of the manager vary from company to company but are expected to be more than 40 per week. Content managers do not find their jobs stressful, which contributes positively to career satisfaction. The job is not physically demanding but requires you to have sufficient experience to carry out the role.

Salary of a Content Manager in India ranges between ₹ 2.4 Lakhs to ₹ 14.9 Lakhs with an average annual salary of ₹ 6.0 Lakhs.
