Introduction

Part of the process in hand drawn animation is doing Clean up. Traditionally, the first drawings in animations are called roughs or rough animation because they are very roughly drawn. If the animation drawings are successfully pencil tested and approved by the art director then the cleaner version of the drawings have to be created.
