The GST Compliance Executive’s job duties are to GST Solutions for businesses across India. Masters India is committed to providing GST subject matter expertise and world-class user experience, starting from GST Software for Invoicing and GST Return Filing.

Skills and abilities:

Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

They need to have good Interpersonal and Communication Skills in order to talk to people in the organization such as the sales department, accounting department, and other relevant departments. They also need to call creditors or debtors who owe money and then talk to them. They need to be polite with debtors and maintain good relations with them and good communication skills are required for it.

Math and Accounting Skills:

Math and Accounting skills are basic requirements for a GST Compliance Executive. They need to have good math and accountancy skills in order to analyze the account, call debtors and ask them to return the money.

Time Management skills:

Time management is the ability to complete tasks within a certain time frame and as they have to multitask and complete each day, time management skills can help them meet their deadlines.

Job Description

The core responsibilities of the GST Compliance Executive are responsible for overseeing the Filing of returns, Input Tax Credit Reconciliation, Payment of GST overseeing and ensuring timely compliance, Preparing & maintaining books of accounts, and reconciling of financial statements in compliance with the norms. Responsible for timely Filing of Accounts and Statutory Filings like GST, TDS, etc.

GST Executive salary in India ranges between ₹ 1.2 Lakhs to ₹ 6.5 Lakhs with an average annual salary of ₹ 3.0 Lakhs. The Amount may vary through different factors like cities, experience workflow, and workload.

With Experience in accounting and Taxation one can build a successful career as a GST Compliance Executive. Usually, they start as an intern or in a junior post and have to work to the level of being a senior GST Compliance Executive.
