Introduction

Pass with at least 60% marks to get admission in higher education. You need to pass the entrance exam to get admission for an aerospace engineering bachelor’s degree. JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores are used as admission criteria for Aeronautical Engineers. You need to pass the GATE entrance exam to get admission for a master’s degree. You need to meet the minimum criteria of merit or entrance exam to be eligible for Doctoral programs.

Entrance Exams

The colleges give admission only after students appear in the entrance examination of national and state-level engineering. Some most popular entrance exams are listed below-

National level-

  1. JEE Main – This exam is to take admission in the UG program (B.tech). You can give the exam after completing your 10 +2 examination with an aggregate of a minimum of 75%.
  2. JEE Advanced- This is also for UG programs (B.Tech). You can appear in eczema with a minimum aggregate of 75%.
  3. GATE- The examination to take admission in M.Tech or PG program. The students can appear for this exam when they complete their UG with an aggregate of a minimum of 55% marks.

Work Description

Most of the work of Aerospace engineers is related to aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and related objects. A typical aerospace engineer has to perform the following day-to-day activity-

  1. Developing and creating new airplane and spaceship technology.
  2. Developing innovative approaches to make flights more cost-effective and efficient.
  3. Various segments of an airplane are tested and assembled.
  4. Examining and repairing damaged or malfunctioning aircraft components.
  5. In collaboration with the design team, create new airplane parts.
  6. Analyzing the negative environmental effects of aviation and devising new solutions to make flights more environmentally friendly.
  7. Finalizing the design of parts while keeping all quality criteria in mind.
  8. To reduce dangers, new and improved airplane standards are being developed by them. 
  9. They assemble. maintain and ensure their proper functionality.
