Solder Masking & Legend Printing Operator

A minimum of a 10th or 12th grade pass is required. Solder Masking & Legend Printing Operator Certification (programme linked to ELE/Q2301 issued by the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India)

Skills Required

Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
Optical clarity
Hand-eye coordination is essential.
Physically capable
Thinking in a reflective manner

Job Description

The following are the responsibilities of a Solder Masking & Legend Printing Operator:
PCB panels need to be cleaned before they can be used.
Solder masking machine setup and operation
To solidify the resist, the panels must be dried.
Consider the panels.
Turning on the oven
Visual inspection of the solder mask PCB

Key Competencies

Basic electronics and component knowledge
familiar with the operation of a solder masking machine
familiar with the concept, importance, and technology of solder masking
Understanding the many types of solder masks and inks
Pre-cleaning of the solder masking machine and oven operation is a strong suit.
Ink jet printing kinds and applications are well-understood.
Coating processes, copper plate handling, chemical, temperature, and other skills are all mastered.
Exceptional in spotting common solder masking flaws and achieving zero-defect solder masking
Safely handling chemicals and solvents is a must.
General understanding of PCB design, manufacturing, and component and system level testing
Machine flaws and their causes are familiar to you.
IPC requirements for printed circuit boards knowledge

Salary

Experience-wise	Salary
For freshers	INR 4,000 to INR 6,000 per month
For candidates with 2-4 years of experience or more	INR 6,000 to INR 10,000 per month
