A marketing executive is a person who will help with marketing projects for the organisation they work for. Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
  • Organize and oversee advertising and communication campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events such as social media, TV etc.
  • They need to Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends in the market, brand awareness and competition ventures
  • Initiate and control surveys and feedback to assess customer requirements and dedication
  • Creating material for diverse marketing distributions such as brochures, press releases, website material etc
  • Maintain good as well as strong relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
  • Monitor progress of various marketing campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance to clients or superiors
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing marketing budgets and monitoring expenses

  • Liaising with events coordinators to maximise visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibitions

The Marketing Executive requires to have a Three year college degree with majoring in business, Marketing or finance preferred, such as a Bachelor of Commerce (B Com), Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) etc.  If you want to have a good chance of working in a reputed organisation, A master’s degree is recommendable, such as a Master of Commerce (M. Com) or MBA in Marketing or Finance, However, it is important that the Marketing executive possess at least two years of experience in the Marketing industry in a starting position.
