What is Python?

Python is a multi-paradigm, interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programing language with dynamic semantics. Python is created by Guido van Rossum and first released in 1991. Python’s high-level built-in data structures, combined with dynamic typing and dynamic binding, make attractive for Rapid Application Development. It also uses as a scripting language to connect existing components together. 

Python is simple, easy to learn syntax highlights readability and therefore decrease the cost of program maintenance. It supports modules and packages, which uplift program modularity and code reuse. It uses dynamic typing and a combination of reference counting and a cycle-detecting garbage collector. It also has a dynamic name resolution, which binds methods and variable names during program execution.

Steps to Download and Install Python

Step 1: Go on the Browser and type Python in the search bar.

Step 2: Click on the very first search result “Welcome to Python.org”

Step 3: Click on the “Download” tab on the homepage.

Step 4: There will be different versions of Python, with different platforms. Now select and click on the version you want to download. 

Step 5: Open the downloaded file in the folder. 

Step 6: Double click on the file, setup window opens. 

Step 7: Select the checkbox of “Add Python 3.7 to PATH” and click on the “Install Now” option.

Step 8: A popup opens, select the “Yes” button. Here installation gets started.

Step 9: After installation click on the “Close” button. Python is ready to use.
